• Please join us on Thursday, May 22, as we celebrate the achievements of our four-year-old preschoolers during their Rising Up Event.

• All parents of rising Kindergartners are encouraged to reach out to Mrs. Brynn Allen, WCA Admissions Director, at allenb@williamsburgchristian.org for information regarding Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

• May 19-22: Upper School Exams/ All grades 11:30 am dismissal.

• May 22 Last Day of School for Upper School

• May 23: Last Day of School for Lower School

• Teacher Appreciation Week is from May 5 to 9, 2025, and we’re excited to honor the incredible educators who pour their hearts into teaching and guiding our children every day.

Monday is “Thanks a latte” (coffee, tea, and breakfast items)

Tuesday is “It’s nacho Secret you are amazing!” (Nacho bar)

Wednesday is “Mixing up some gratitude” (Trail mix bar)

Thursday is “Our Learning Facilitators take the cake” (Dessert bar)

Friday is “You are a blessing” (Luncheon + thank you notes + gift basket)

On Friday, please send a note or small gift to say “thank you” to your child’s teachers. Let’s make them feel as appreciated as they truly are!

• On Friday, May 9, the PWCA would love to surprise our Learning Facilitators with special gift baskets tailored to their favorite things. Your help in contributing would make these gifts even more heartfelt and unique!

Kindergarten 

1st Grade there is no link for Mrs. G but she likes Blue Talon, Cava, Target, chocolate chips cookies, Football (Commanders), favorite color is green, medium shirt size, yoga, cooking & running.

2nd Grade

4th Grade

VMAC Semifinals Girls Soccer (teams TBD based on outcome of 5/01 Quarterfinals game); location @ either Carmel School or Richmond Christian, 4:30 pm

4:00 – 7:00 pm – Golf Match for competition team @ Suffolk Golf Course (1227 Holland Rd. Suffolk, VA  23434) 

5:30 – 7:30 pm – Track Practice @ Jamestown High School (bus transportation from school 5:00 pm and back to the school after practice); if you are not participating in a Field event, runners alternatively may be picked up at 7:00 pm from the Track. 

Tuesday, 5/06/25

3:30 – 5:00 pm – Baseball Practice (back field) 

4:15-6:15 pm Boys Baseball GAME HOME  vs Providence Classical 

4:30 – 6:30 pm – Girls Soccer GAME HOME vs Guardian Christian School (JV players may participate); Senior Recognition Night before the game (back field)

Wednesday, 5/07/25

2:00 – 3:00 pm – Junior Eagles Volleyball & Tennis Final Celebration Day (tournament style play & celebration with cupcakes); please wear Junior Eagles corresponding t-shirts to school that day if purchased 

2:30 – 4:00 pm – Golf Last Practice (Birdies & Eagles) @ Kiskiack Golf Course 

5:30 – 7:30 pm – Track & Field Practice @ Jamestown HS Track (bus transportation from school at 5:00 pm and back to school after practice)

Thursday, 5/08/25

3:00 – 7:00 pm – Parent & Player Golf Match @ Kiskiack Golf Course

4:30 – 6:30 pm – Girls VMAC Soccer Championship @ Richmond Christian School (Teams TBD based on seeding in the tournament)

4:00 – 7:00 pm – JV Track meet @ St. Christopher’s School (711 St. Christopher’s Rd. Richmond, VA)
