org - We are looking for homestay families and our students from Colombia for the new academic school year. We have 5 students from Colombia: 3 boys for the 9th grade and 2 girls for the 9th grade who are interested in joining WCA. Please contact Evelina Bialon if you would be interested in hosting.

- Prom (9th-12th grade) is on Saturday, April 27, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., in the Greenspring West Clubhouse. The theme is masquerade, and the tickets cost $25. Prom Flyer
- Our 10th -12th Grade Girls Small Group Members, along with our High School Women’s Club, are leading a service project to support at-risk women of the greater Williamsburg area. This project is an item drive for the Avalon Center and shelter. Our students are asking for t-shirts and sweatpants in larger sizes and full-size personal care (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body soap, and dental care) on behalf of the Avalon Center. - The 12th-grade Boys are hosting a Car Wash during our Community Service day on Wednesday, May 1st, from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm. Please bring your car by for a clean. Donations will be collected and given to the Lackey Clinic.

- Spring MAP Assessments for 6th through 8th grades will occur during 1st block on May 6, May 7, and May 9. All students are to come to the cafetorium with charged Chromebooks.
- The Senior Thesis Parent Panel is on Monday, May 6, from 10:00 – 11:30 am. This is a capstone project for the seniors in Bible class. Mr. Vas is looking for volunteers to participate on the panel. Please contact Mr. Vas at vasd@williamsburgchristian.org if you are interested.

- Upper School students and parents receive their textbooks and supplies list at Upper School Orientation on July 13. Supplies information is provided on each course’s syllabus. At the beginning of every school year, Upper School students are provided with a three-week halo period to get supplies and texts for each course.
- Save the Date: Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Upper School Fall Retreat Camp Friendship near Charlottesville, VA, will leave at 7:00 a.m. and return at 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, will be a remote learning school because of the late arrival the night before. More information will be available during the Upper School Orientation on July 13.

- The PWCA has partnered with Planet Aid to provide a way for our students and community to do something positive for the environment. Planet Aid works to raise awareness and inspire our youth to help make a difference in the world. Planet Aid helps recycle your unwanted clothing to keep them out of the landfill and give them a second chance to be reused. Gather up all your unwanted clothing.
