- For four years, Mr. Marc LaPointe’s wife, Di, has suffered from Long COVID. This condition has significantly disrupted every area of their life together and has taken Di’s mobility. A Long COVID study that would provide advanced medical treatment recently accepted Mrs. LaPointe. The cost of the study, however, is $8,000. *Upper School students DO NOT have classes on Friday, May 24; however, some Upper School students who have missed more than ten percent of any class will have seat hours to make up May 20-24 to earn full credit for said course.
Students who quickly complete exams will be dismissed at the listed exam release time. There will be no early dismissals.
- Upper School students and parents receive their textbooks and supplies list at Upper School Orientation on July 13. Supplies information is provided on each course’s syllabus. At the beginning of every school year, Upper School students are provided with a three-week halo period to get supplies and texts for each course.
- Save the Date: Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Upper School Fall Retreat Camp Friendship near Charlottesville, VA, will leave at 7:00 a.m. and return at 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, will be a remote learning school because of the late arrival the night before. More information will be available during the Upper School Orientation on July 13.

- The PWCA has partnered with Planet Aid to provide a way for our students and community to do something positive for the environment. Planet Aid works to raise awareness and inspire our youth to help make a difference in the world. Planet Aid helps recycle your unwanted clothing to keep them out of the landfill and give them a second chance to be reused. Gather up all your unwanted clothing.
