- Purple Up! Ceremony – April 15, 2026
Join us as we honor and celebrate our military-connected students and families!
What: School-wide celebration of military children
When: April 15, 2026, at 9:15 AM
Who: All students, parents, and family members are welcome
Honorees: We proudly recognize all military-connected family members, including active duty, veterans, retirees, and reserve service members.
We are currently collecting photos of military members, families, and children for our Wall of Honor slideshow.
The ceremony will feature a local color guard, a brass ensemble, student and staff speakers, and a special visit from a local Army recruiter, who will lead a military-style obstacle course for students.
- Connections Meetings Canceled for April: Due to SAT in-school testing and field day, we will not be hosting the Upper School or Lower School Connections meetings this month on April 23rd or 24th, 2026. We are planning new ways to stay informed and stay connected to the WCA community. More information is coming soon.
- Field Day: It's coming up on Friday, April 24. Students will be released early at 1:00 PM, and aftercare will be available to support families as needed.
- Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp Information: As summer break approaches, please see below for details on available summer camps and Vacation Bible School programs in the area. Vacation Bible School & Summer Camp Information
- All parents of rising kindergarten students are encouraged to reach out to Brynn Allen, WCA Admission Director, at allenb@williamsburgchristian.org for information regarding Kindergarten for the 26-27 school year.
- Academy Performing Arts (APA) for 3rd-5th graders is on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30 pm.
- Spring Map Testing for Lower School will take place April 28- May 6.
- Coffeehouse is on Thursday, April 16, at 6:00 pm. Join us for an evening filled with student talent and community spirit! Enjoy food, refreshing drinks, and incredible performances. All WCA community members are welcome to attend, though only US students can perform.
- WCA will be offering in-school PSAT and SAT testing this spring. Please mark your calendars:
9th and 10th graders: PSAT on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM
11th graders: SAT on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 8:00 AM
- Join us on April 22 from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. for our Career and Resource Fair! This is a great opportunity to explore careers and connect with valuable community resources. WCA Business Owners invited to showcase:
Connect your business with motivated high school juniors and seniors by volunteering for a hands-on engagement opportunity that builds your brand, supports career readiness, and invests directly in the future workforce. We can supply a table for you.
- Prom (9-12 grades) will be on Saturday, April 25
- The Diploma Program exams begin on Thursday, April 30.
- Senior Thesis Parent Panel: Mr. Vas is looking for a few parents in the WCA community who would like to serve on our Senior Thesis Parent Panel. This is an annual exercise for our Senior class, which we have been doing for a few years now. The students will write an independently chosen topic/ paper, present it, and field some thoughtful questions from parents. This will take place during the Senior Exam week, May 4-8, 2026. We would love to have you serve in this capacity if you are able. Please contact Donald Vas at vasd@williamsburgchristian.org if you are interested or if you have any further questions.
- We are currently seeking host families for three international students for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to open your home, build a meaningful cross-cultural connection, and make a lasting impact on a student’s life.
